Career Directions Update
With regard to Career Directions Program at Nokee Kwe; Intakes will run on the following Tuesdays: April 20, May 4 & 18, June 1 & 15.
The Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities, our funder, has developed a new Career Services Model. This change requires transitioning to meet their new guidelines. While some restructuring occurs, we remain committed to our vision, in that we will be leaders in providing holistic and comprehensive services to Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal individuals to assist them in making meaningful life and career choices.
We welcome inquiries as this transition unfolds. Please note: other program/services at Nokee Kwe **will not** be affected by these changes. Our plan is to have these new services available to you by June 2010.
Thank you so much for your patience and understanding.

At ClothingWorks we receive donations of gently used clothing from a generous public every week. We change the stock in our men's and women's stores seasonally to best serve our job searchers by providing appropriate clothing at no cost. Because our clothing donations are on-going, we sell off the excess inventory before bringing in the opposing season's clothing. This serves as a fundraiser for us to support our volunteers and offers an advantage to past customers of the service, clients currently being helped by our referring partners, their staff and friends.
Our fall inventory reduction sales will be held: Wednesday April 28 and Thursday, April 29, both from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. The sales are held at the ClothingWorks location, lower level of the Skill Centre, 141 Dundas Street. You can enter from Dundas stairwell or from the Covent Market Lane elevator entrance. The prices are quite low and we offer during the sales items not ordinarily kept such as jeans.
Sales are cash only. No refunds or exchanges. You are welcome to bring a friend when you come. Any questions, call ClothingWorks at 519-672-3780.
Please spread the word. There are lots of bargains to be had; denim, summer, winter, casual, business, leather, shoes and a couple of specials. Come both days if you wish.
