Dear ESCLM Members;
You will be familiar with our sector's concern with and response to recent cuts to and limits placed on funding for Employment Ontario programs.
The ESCLM is soliciting your input and perspectives on recent "limits" placed on the Job Creation Partnership Program. The London-Middlesex region has a history of managing successful JCP projects with appropriate supports and resources to ensure success. In addition to many other initiatives, London JCP participants are currently providing services to job seekers through the Community Access Program, developing employment resource materials, and coordinating a community response to future area layoffs. These are important community projects which are critically dependent on the replacement of outgoing JCPs by new individuals.
If you, your agency, or other partners benefit from the JCP Program, either directly or indirectly, and you would like to contribute to a community-level response, please contact me with your stories: carol@esclm.ca.

Congrats ClothingWorks!
Honored at last week's Pillar Nonprofit Network community innovation awards, ClothingWorks is the winner of this year's Community Colllaboration Award.
Well-deserving of this award, CW is an excellent example of an innovative service that provides much support to job seekers. A service provided to all our ESCLM member clients, it helps job seekers learn to dress for the workplace and provides interview and work-appropriate clothing for that critical first work impression.
