ESCLM Weekly Update: Vol.5, February 1, 2010

Dear ESCLM Members;

Please join me in congratulating the 13 ESCLM member agencies and their staff who, on Friday January 29th, 2010, were recognized as successful in achieving certification in the council's Service Delivery Standards.

Service Delivery Standards are unique to the London region, and benefit our community by establishing clear and measurable benchmarks for quality, consistency and reliability in the provision of employment and training supports for local job seekers. The standards also enhance the strength of our community's referral network - addressing and sustaining the council's principle of "no wrong door" for job seekers in need of employment and training supports.

Local non profit agencies receiving certification include: ATN Access Inc; City of London CLEAR Project; Goodwill Industries; Hutton House; Job Search Strategies; London Employment Help Centre; London Training Centre; Leads Employment Services; Pathways Skill Development; Quad County Support Services; Quest Centre; WIL Employment Connections; and Youth Opportunities Unlimited.

Certification Certificates were presented by Khalil Ramal M.P.P. for London Fanshawe. Below, Jim Martin (right), Principal of Alternative, Adult, and Continuing Education, The Centre For Lifelong Learning, accepts on behalf of Job Search Strategies.
