It is that time of year once more and we are seeking the help of our Employment Sector Agencies to connect graduating students from Fanshawe & Western to London businesses and community. Our keynote speaker - Dave Howlett - promises to deliver a great practical session on how to make the most of networking.

Green Jobs Now

To all green employers, educators, employees, and those wanting to be part of our green future:

Career Directions at NoKee Kwe and the London Public Library are pleased to announce a day of informative discussion on the future of environmentally friendly companies and green employment as part of London and Middlesex's economic development plan.

The date is Tuesday, February 16, at Central Library,251 Dundas Street, in the Stevenson & Hunt Rooms, from 9:30 am to 2:00 pm.
There is no charge to attend this event.

Join local green innovators, educators, employers and employees to learn about environmental initiatives, training and job creation.

This promises to be a great and timely event, but we need your help and support. We encourage local green employers and educators to take advantage of this opportunity to showcase your businesses or programs by agreeing to be a panelist or speaker; to arrange for a booth in Central Library's passageway, or to sponsor food, refreshments, or door prizes.

Daya Counselling Centre is hosting a Button Brier the evening of Saturday, Feb. 6th, in support of its counselling programs. This is a great opportunity to try something new, or strut your stuff if you are an accomplished curler! Maybe you want to enter as a staff team? Or you have a group of friends that would enjoy a night out?

What a great way to shake off those winter doldrums! And, what more can you ask for: food, drinks, friends and fun.
